The 15-song soundtrack to POP PSYCHOLOGY was written and performed by Tony Rogers as a fully-orchestrated pop album companion to the show. It was recorded by longtime Good collaborator Scott Ramsayer (who also plays piano on the CD) and features orchestral arrangements by John Scholvin, plus unapologetically therapeutic instrumental & vocal performances by members of The Good, Frisbie, Poi Dog Pondering, Down The Line, The Me Decade, Pound Foolish, The Plunging Necklines, The Daniel James Band, Maggie Speaks, The Barking Mad, Swimmer, Cassius Clay, and many, many more.

The CD features full-length studio versions of the songs featured in the POP PSYCHOLOGY show (including such inspirational favorites as, "My Prescription for You Is Me") and also several bonus songs that do not appear in the show.

The music from POP PSYCHOLOGY has been featured numerous times on WXRT's "Local Anesthetic" and on WBEZ's "Eight Forty-Eight" show.

Chicago Arts & Entertainment named the POP PSYCHOLOGY soundtrack its 2002 Album Of The Year, calling it "funny... poignant... touching. Rogers seems to embody John Lennon mixed with early David Bowie and a bit of Tom Lehrer thrown in. The lyrics are intelligent, witty, deft, and revelatory." (see full review).

Richard Milne of WXRT calls it "really fun, and best of all musically interesting."

The CD is available exclusively here, at POP PSYCHOLOGY performances, and at thegood.org.

Answer #1 (for worriers): Heavens, yes, you should worry about it. You worry about everything else, why not worry about this? Surely, no good can come of the word "good," right? Just what in the name of the Worried Wide Web is going on here?

Answer #2 (for non-worriers): No, you shouldn't worry about it. The Institute of Psychomusicology shares an internet store with The Good, Dr. Tony's rock and roll band. They do it to save you money. Well, that's not exactly true. They do it to save themselves money. The bottom line is, your transaction will be handled by ccnow, a well-established and totally secure facilitator for internet credit card orders.
